Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha is keen to resolve leadership wrangles at the University of Nairobi after he asked the Court and was granted 30 days to resolve the stalemate of who between Prof Stephen Kiama and Prof Isaac Mbeche should be the boss.
The Employment and Labour Relations Court Thursday allowed the minister and embattled Vice-Chancellor Stephen Kiama to negotiate and agree on way forward for the institution.
The university is split after Magoha revoked Prof Kiama’s appointment as VC.
Should the parties agree out of court, they shall then file a consent of withdrawal of case.
