Peter Mwangi is a respected name in the investments world. He is no ordinary CEO. The publicity-shy technocrat has a big name to himself.
His resignation, like the one at Centum and Nairobi Security Exchange, is often in unclear circumstances.
He is an electrical engineer, a certified public accountant and a chartered financial analyst. He has worked for ICDC Investments (which branded into Centum Investments), Nairobi Securities Exchange and now as UAP Old Mutual’s CEO from which position he will be stepping down this week.
Mwangi will be replaced by chief financial officer Arthur Oginga.
But even as the quiet former Kenya Airforce officer leaves his corner office at UAP Old Mutual, it is how he leaves organizations that baffles many. He doesn’t last long either before landing yet another key job.
