The high court sitting in Nakuru handed a major reprieve to Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi with a lower Sh500,000 bail or an option of Sh1 million bond.
But Mr Sudi will not conduct in his business as usual approach. He is barred from addressing a public rally until the hate speech investigation against him is complete.
On Thursday, Mr Sudi moved to the High Court to challenge his detention at a police station for seven days pending investigations into five charges that he is facing.
Through his lawyer, Mr Sudi affirmed to the judge that he is willing to abide by the Court’s conditions.
