The Higher Education Loans Board (Helb) will name and shame over 85,000 loan defaulters in 30 days if they do not pay up their outstanding arrears.
HELB says it will publish photos of the the defaulters who are holding about Sh50 billion in its’ books.
Those who settle or agree with HELB on how to settle the same won’t be shamed.
Many graduates have complained that they cannot be able to clear HELB loans since they do not secure jobs after graduating.
The institution, headed by Mr Charles Ringera (pictured) has been financing students in tertiary levels both in public and private colleges and universities at a low interest rate.
